Terms of Service

When you sign up to have Butt Nugget Scoopers LLC services you are agreeing to these Terms of Service.

 

  • ​Payments

​

We send out invoices between the 1st-5th of the month. It is due on the last business day of that month.

If you are going to be late paying, it is okay, please just contact us and let us know when you think you can pay.

If you don’t contact us, we will charge a late fee of $10. If payment is still not received or contact is not made, we will discontinue services that second week of the new month, until we hear from you.

  • Skipped Service

​

If we are unable to perform service due to:

​

  • Locked/blocked gate

  • Dogs being in the yard

  • Road work that blocks access

  • Yard work that blocks access

​

Regular service rates will still apply. In such cases, we will continue services the next week where we will remove the accumulated waste. If you need to skip for any reason, please let us know within 24 hours of service day.

​

  • Holidays

​

If your scheduled service day falls on holiday, service will be moved or postponed to a regular day or the following week. We will offer discounts if someone in the household removes waste themselves during this time.

When we service yard after coming back, we will perform a good double-checking cleaning which takes additional time and effort. Standard rates will apply for missed days on Holiday circumstances.

We observe the following holidays:

Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

 

  • Vacations

We only have 2 employees so far, and we are the owners! A big reason we got into small business work was to have more time for family. We work diligently to keep your yard clean, and we occasionally take vacations. When this occurs, we will notify you in advance, and your service day will be adjusted temporarily to accommodate. If you have any questions or concerns, never hesitate to reach out to us.

  • Gates/Latches

​

We do take great care in making sure gates are latched when leaving, we cannot be held responsible for escapes due to defective gates or latches. To ensure safety, please make sure your gates latch securely. If we ever notice the gate requires attention, we will notify you immediately. Also, we can offer a picture when we leave the gate latched to any client that would like it, just let us know.

  • Cancelling Services

​

You reserve the right to cancel services at any time. We understand circumstances and life change all the time. Should you need to cancel just contact us by calling, texting, or email.

  • Scheduling

​

We reserve the right to make temporary adjustments to service days as needed. Factors such as weather, illnesses, vacations, vehicle issues, holidays, or family obligations may occasionally affect our schedule. While we strive for consistency, please understand that we are a small, family-operated business with very limited resources.

  • Weather

​

Our team does not work in hazardous weather conditions, including heavy rain, snow, ice, or extreme temperatures. For safety we will not work with wind chill below 0ºF or heat indexes exceeding 110ºF. These conditions are very rare though.

  • Snow Policy

 

During the winter months, there may be occasions when snowfall accumulates to the point where pet waste is not visible. If we are unable to perform your scheduled yard cleaning due to snow, we will attempt to complete it the next day. Should snow still cover the yard, or not enough business hours to complete, we will have to wait until your next service day to complete. Unfortunately, there is a limited amount of daylight hours in the winter.

Service Adjustments for Snow

​

If snow remains on your property by the time of your next scheduled service, our team will proceed with a thorough walk-through of the yard. We will remove visible waste from on top of the snow, in bare areas, around trees, and on decks or patios. While we strive to collect all visible waste, any hidden beneath the snow will be addressed during subsequent visits as conditions improve.

 

Billing Considerations

We NO LONGER issue account credits for missed cleanings due to snow. This is because the waste will eventually be collected in full. Once the snow melts, we will remove any accumulated waste, which typically requires additional time and effort. Please also take into consideration that there are 52 weeks in a year, and we only charge for 48 weeks of service. There are 4 months with 5 weeks, and we provide that service at no extra charge.

We kindly ask for your understanding, as weather conditions are beyond anyone’s control, and we remain committed to providing consistent, high-quality service under these circumstances.

  • Satisfaction Guarantee

​

At Butt Nugget Scoopers, your satisfaction is our top priority. If you are dissatisfied with our service for any reason, please notify us immediately, we will return to your property within 24 hours to address and resolve the issue.

To qualify for a revisit, requests must be submitted within 24 hours of the most recent service completion. After this period, all work is considered final. We are committed to resolving any concerns promptly and will always strive to ensure your satisfaction with our services.

In case of an inability to get back to your yard within the 24 hours, we will credit that week off of your invoice.
